Using Mercurius

Mercurius is a private workspace for organizing trips with invited travelers. Use the service only with an account and email address you are authorized to use, and only open or change trips you have permission to access.

Your trip information

You are responsible for the information you add and for making sure you have permission to share it with other trip members. Trip owners and co-planners can manage shared workspace information and access. Personal itinerary items have member-specific access controls. Packing lists are private by default, and a packing-list owner can explicitly give selected active trip members collaborative access.

Travel decisions

Mercurius helps people organize travel information. It does not book travel, confirm supplier availability, provide professional travel advice, or make travel decisions for you. Check important details directly with the relevant airline, hotel, transportation provider, government authority, or other source before relying on them.

Expenses and payments

Expense features provide calculation suggestions based on information travelers enter. Mercurius does not send money, settle balances, or process payments. Travelers remain responsible for reviewing calculations and arranging any payment themselves.

Invitations and third-party services

Mercurius uses Clerk for authentication, Cloudflare D1 for application data, browser localStorage for device caching, and Resend for invitation emails. Those providers may apply their own terms and policies to their services. Mercurius does not currently access Gmail, send trip data to a language-model provider, or process payments.

Documents and future integrations

Document storage is currently disabled, so document upload, preview, download, and deletion are not available. Future Gmail, AI, payment, document-storage, or other integrations require separate notice and consent before activation.

Appropriate use

Do not use Mercurius to access another person’s account or trip without permission, interfere with the service, introduce malicious content, or use the service in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.

Service changes

Mercurius may change as the product develops. Features may be corrected, limited, suspended, or removed. Changes that affect data practices will be reflected in the Privacy Policy, and future integrations require separate notice and consent before activation.

Future commercialization review

Formal business-entity and governing-law terms are deferred. They will be reviewed before Mercurius is monetized or begins materially broader public operation.

Questions and account requests

For support, account questions, account deletion, or trip deletion requests, email supportmercuriustravel@gmail.com. Deletion instructions are also available on the Account and Data Deletion page. Mercurius does not promise a fixed response or deletion timeline.
