Account and Data Deletion
Account deletion, account-private information removal, and trip deletion are handled through verified manual requests. Browser-cached data is managed separately on each device.
Mercurius is personally operated by Adam Rensch.

- Email supportmercuriustravel@gmail.com, preferably from the email address used to sign in.
- Use a clear subject such as “Mercurius account and data deletion request.”
- State whether you want to delete your account or remove particular account-private information.
Mercurius will verify the requester’s identity and confirm the requested scope. Account-private information is removed through this manual process. Mercurius does not provide automated deletion or self-service account deletion, and it does not promise a fixed response or deletion timeline.
Account deletion and trip deletion are separate
Deleting an account does not automatically delete a shared trip or all records in that trip. To ask about deleting a specific trip, identify the trip in your email so support can verify your authority and confirm the request separately.
If the account owns a shared trip, support must review that trip before acting. Mercurius does not currently provide automated ownership transfer.
Shared-trip information
A trip can contain information shared among several members. Shared trip records may need to remain available to other trip members. An account deletion request may therefore remove your membership and account-private information while preserving shared records that other authorized travelers still use. Support will explain the confirmed scope before acting on the request.
Clear browser-cached data
Mercurius caches workspace data in your browser’s localStorage on the device you use. After signing out, use your browser’s controls to clear site data for mercuriustravel.net. Repeat this on each browser or device where you used Mercurius.
Clearing browser data removes the cache on that device. It does not delete your Clerk authentication account or data held in Cloudflare D1, and it does not replace a server-data deletion request.
Document storage
Cloudflare R2 document storage is currently disabled. Mercurius blocks operations that would contact it. If your request involves document metadata that may remain in D1, mention that in your email so support can include it when confirming scope.
